Hello! I'm a Social Worker passionate about helping individuals seeking support on their mental health journey. I'm not sure what brings you here, but for many of my clients, it is a desire to change how they feel about their daily lives. At times, they may be struggling with thoughts about themselves, others, and/or their lives in general. They may feel fearful, depressed, anxious, ashamed, stuck, and/or the desire to please people with little regard for themselves. They, at times, feel responsible for everyone else's problems, which leads to exhaustion and a sense of failure. They may experience triggers and don't understand why.
I use evidence-based tools that help reduce the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias and other emotional wounds by desensitizing distressing memories, reducing their impact, and promoting more calm in your daily living. The goal is to work towards a different experience of your present moment, one that feels less distressing and more fulfilling.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can explore your inner world, heal from past trauma, and build a brighter future. As therapists we can't guarantee that everyone will have the same helpful results using EMDR, however, we know that EMDR has shown great promise for many folks and it is my hope it will for you too.
