I am a therapist who approaches clinical work with compassion and commitment. I treat each client as unique and offer modalities that might range from a single session to ongoing weekly support, depending on the circumstances. I tailor my therapeutic techniques to each client and provide problem solving, active listening and goal oriented therapy. I am experienced in a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, relationships, family issues, school/jobs. I address issues resulting from separation and divorce through mediation, custody assessment and counselling.
I am an experienced clinician with over 40 years of practice with children, teenagers and young adults up to the age of 35, together with their parents and family, when appropriate. I am an experienced play therapist and engage well with teenagers and their families. For young adults, I offer a safe haven to explore independence and autonomy issues.
I am available for a telephone consult at no charge to determine whether I am a good fit for your therapeutic needs. If promising, we can meet to see if we both feel like moving forward. I fee slide according to income and I maintain a few pro bono hours for clients who are unable to pay at all, or who can only pay a very small amount.
