I have a unique background of over 30 years experience working with young children, adolescents and their families. I offer a variety of client centred psychotherapeutic services specializing in individual and family therapy. My relaxed play-based approach helps children explore difficult emotions and situations. I use a strength-based approach helping adolescents building their self confidence, self esteem and coping strategies. When parents feel capable and they are better able to understand their child's individuality the potential risks for mental health concerns decrease for every family member.
I provide a safe, inviting, age appropriate space for children, teens and their parents to develop skills and build their relationships. I use a strength based approach and a blend of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Attachment therapy, Mindfulness, Play and Sand therapy, Neuro-Linguistic, trauma informed and behaviour therapy.

Managing Your Worries (different age groups)
The goal of this group is for children to learn positive prosocial coping strategies together with peers who are having similar experiences. This is an early intervention group. It is comprised of 6 sessions with similar aged peers learning through activities about managing their worry. These strategies when practiced, can influence their ability when coping with stress and worry now and in their future. Learning strategies at a young age can increase their resilency, decrease struggles with anxiety difficulties and disorders.
