I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist, with over 11 years of clinical experience working in the NHS. I have worked across a variety of settings, primarily in specialist NHS mental health services, with individuals, groups, couples, and families. I have highly specialist training in working with people who experience different issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship problems, emotional difficulties, bereavement, cultural issues, low self-esteem, stuckness, shame, family problems, life transitions and identity issues.
I offer a containing, collaborative and supportive space to help clients develop better relationships with themselves and other people. I routinely help people to understand and improve what might be getting in their way of having meaningful relationships, work towards life goals and to experience pleasure in life.
Each situation is different and I can be flexible about which approach I use, and will do so according to your individual needs. Alongside this, I believe it is essential to explore and include the influence of culture, as well as aspects of a person’s identity and background in their therapy.
