I have spent the last 18 years studying human behaviour, relationships, and the workings of the mind – formerly in university teaching, research and support roles and now, as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor supporting individuals and couples with psychological, emotional and relationship difficulties. My focus is on the whole person rather than solely addressing specific symptoms or issues, which means our therapeutic process will consider all parts of you, mind, body, spirit and soul, as well as the social and cultural aspects of your experience.
I have training in person-centred, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches. I am also trained in emotionally focused couple therapy. Additionally, I have 18 years of experience in university support, teaching and research roles - much of which focused on family and relationship research.
