There are many reasons for seeking therapy and it is a big step to ask for help. Sometimes it is about coming to terms with a life event such as a relationship breakdown or a bereavement, sometimes long standing feelings of anxiety, depression or plain unhappiness and sometimes a general sense that things are not right. I offer a free no obligation phone call of about 10 minutes so that we can talk about your concerns and you can ask any questions. The next step would be an initial consultation either in person or online to understand your history and your hopes for therapy. If we then feel we can work together we agree a weekly appointment time and begin.
I believe that whatever the issue which leads someone to seek therapy, it is the relationship between client and therapist that is the most important factor in facilitating change.
