I work with children who may be struggling with self-esteem, emotional regulation, family/ peer relationships, confidence or are not coping at school. They may have experienced trauma which continues to impact their emotional well being and everyday life. Often their parents/carers have tried many different strategies to support their child and are desperate for them to be happy and for their relationships to improve.
I meet with parents/carers to carefully discuss their concerns and hopes for their child. I work with their child using play to develop trust and enable them to explore and express what they are struggling with. I offer support for parents/carers alongside sessions, strengthening their existing skills and finding ways to best support their child together.
Parenting/caring can feel overwhelming, especially when you have a child who is struggling. I have worked closely with many parents/carers and their children, providing acceptance, non-judgement and effective support. Please do get in touch if you/your child is struggling and we can arrange an initial free phone call to see if I can offer you support.
