I am a chartered and HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist as well as a BACP-licensed therapist. I currently work as a perinatal psychologist within the NHS Maternal Mental Health Service. I specialise in providing psychological support to individuals experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, birth trauma, tokophobia, pregnancy loss, grief, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and trauma. I also offer specialised support to mothers, partners, and fathers who have faced emotional challenges before, during, after pregnanacy
I am trained to integrate different approaches based on my client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and Psychodynamic Therapie. My doctoral thesis focused on exploring fathers' experiences of high risk pregnancy which is an under-explored yet an important area.
