As a CBT therapist I work with various difficulties which contribute to how someone is feeling in the present time. This is inclusive of but not limited to; past trauma, domestic abuse, low-self esteem and bereavement. Our past experiences can profoundly affect our emotional well-being, often manifesting as persistent depression or anxiety, overwhelming emotions, or a sense of hopelessness.
