Hi, sometimes it no longer seems enough to talk to friends or family, and we need further support and insight to get back on track. I work with adults, teenagers and children, offering a range of therapeutic methods, to find which suit you best. I am a fully trained and accredited Counsellor with the British Assiciation of Counselling and Psychologists, I am trained in person centred, Psycho- dynamic and CBT and I offer many creative techniques such as Jungian Kallffian Sandplay which is a gentle but extremely effective way of working with children, teenagers and adults. I work with anxiety, depression, self esteem, bereavement, all life events and relationship issues. Jungian Kalffian Sandplay is a gentle but deep and powerful way of working, by balancing parts of ourselves and our lives. It is particularly effectively with adoption and fostering and all areas of attachment, loss and all emotional areas. I am specially am qualified to work with adoption, as I am trained as a Barnado’s Link Counsellor, and also in Attachment Focused Counselling. I have special training in Webster Stratton “Troubleshooting for Parents” so can work on all parenting difficulties
Sometimes it can be hard to talk about difficulties, so it can be very helpful to have other techniques to use alongside talking therapies. The choice is yours and what suits you; you may prefer to focus on talking therapy but I like to offer the option of other ways of working if you are interested, as I feel a variety of ways of working provide more ways in to helping with your concerns. In addition to talking I therefore offer Jungian-Kalffian Sandplay, the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and several other techniques involving drawing and metaphor.
