I am an experienced psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapist and supervisor. I have an open, curious and enquiring approach and I believe - and have witnessed - that change happens through the in-depth conversations I have with those who come for help. I will work with you to help you understand how you find yourself stuck and unable to make changes to your life and the way you perceive yourself and the world around you. The less we are aware of our feelings, thoughts and perceptions, the more they control us and the more we stay stuck in old patterns that repeat themselves. I work with adults, young adults and couples.
I am a member of the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis College (CPJA) of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Currently I sit on the Council of the Site of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. I worked in specialist clinics and I am trained in mentalisation treatment.
I offer supervision to qualified therapists and counsellors. I also offer brief psychodynamic interventions on specific issues when and if appropriate. We can have a brief conversation on the phone to understand what brings you to therapy and if you would like a consultation session.
