Struggling with overwhelming emotions? Mood-swings? Or no feelings at all? I am a highly skilled clinical psychologist and psychotherapist specialising in more complex presentations, often trauma-related and/or resistant to change. A lot of my clients present with mood- or anxiety-driven symptoms that stem from more long-term patterns. Some have had therapy before and might feel frustrated or a bit hopeless about their experience. Or they are already very well educated about their symptoms and are looking for a way to turn all that knowledge into the results they are hoping for. I am here to support you with all my experience.
I offer highly individualised, bespoke therapy, using a combination of evidence-based approaches, such as CBT, EMDR and Emotion Focused Therapy. We will collaboratively find the best way to get to that spot where change has to happen. This might be a very targeted short-term therapy, or more general, long-term work - depending on your needs, time and budget.
As I enjoy working with free spirits, my approach is creative, aiming to integrate a good sense of humour and hopefully never dull. I very much believe therapy should acknowledge and validate your painful experiences, as well as get you in touch with your strengths and inspire you for the future. I work with individuals and couples in English and German.
