I am an Integrative Psychotherapist with 15 years of work experience in the field of mental health. I have extensive experience with complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and feelings of fear, anger, shame, and low self-esteem. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, sad, or confused, and it seems too much to face alone. I am here to help you develop self-understanding, and encourage you to adopt new feelings, attitudes, and behaviours towards life situations. My integrative approach is therapeutically adaptive to your unique individual needs, and empowers you to develop trust and confidence in your own inner guidance.
I have worked in non-profit organisations, community mental health (inpatient and outpatient), private practice, and higher education. My approach draws on techniques and training in humanistic therapy, transpersonal psychology, mindfulness based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, DBT, CBT, interpersonal neurobiology, and internal family systems.
Starting therapy can feel daunting and overwhelming, yet is a valuable and courageous step towards improving your life. Sometimes life feels difficult and we lose perspective about how to move forward. I allow the space for you to ask any questions that may help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.
