I am a Person Centred counselor who works with adults, children and young people, offering 1-1 or group therapy. My approach is non-judgmental and I offer a secure, confidential and nurturing therapeutic space to help you through your difficulties at your own pace. I got into counselling because of having counselling myself so am aware of the difficulties facing finding the right counselor and what it's like having therapy. Even with this knowledge your process will be different and you will have your own sense of the pain you are experiencing. What I offer is my ability to help you walk through this pain with empathy and safety.
I work with all issues that can cause distress and anxiety for people. I have lot of experience of working with the effects of trauma. From Sex, drug, alcohol and gambling addiction. relationship breakdowns, marriage discord, anxiety disorders, Bereavement and loss etc.
I believe in allowing people the space to explore what they need in the time they need to do this. Counselling and psychotherapy offers you a space where you get to know you and most importantly experience what it is like to be truly listen to and accepted. This non-judgmental and empathetic process supports you natural ability to self regulate.
