Across 9 years of psychodynamic therapy practice, I have evolved an approach informed by my concurrent practices as artist and gardener: nurturing, growth and transformation infuse our work together, both informing and cultivating the discovery of where and how we can live in ourselves and the world. The work of therapy resides in a space that we cultivate together - a space where meaning can be made or found - it is a place in the clearing. Here, lives and held views can be encouraged to be found, to be heard, and to potentially transform.
My areas of specific focus are depression &stress, bereavement, gender, sexuality & relationship diversity (GSRD), terminal & chronic conditions, eco-anxiety, and neurodiversity.
My practice brings together the therapeutic experience and training I have undertaken with that of my professions as an artist and gardener – all are fieldwork of a type, all require space, all require responsiveness, attentiveness, commitment and cultivation.
