I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist working in Oxford. I specialise in supporting young people, adults and families. As a former teacher I have a unique insight into how schools can support young people and if necessary I can facilitate communication between schools and families. For many years I have supported parents who face challenging situations, either individually, as a couple or in parent groups. I have over 20 years experience working with young people and adults both in schools and in private practice. My clients experience a range of challenges which include difficult family relationships, a debilitatingly low self-confidence, bullying and friendship related issues, social phobia, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma and loss. They may also have issues related to diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, OCD, or self- harm such as an eating disorder.
In my studio in Oxford, I offer a safe, empathic space within which young people can open up and make sense of their feelings and life circumstances. I have learnt there are many reasons to ask for help and that nothing is too big or small. I am passionate about helping young people and families to feel better so that they can move forward and thrive.
