Hello, my name is Kath and I am a person-centred counsellor. I offer an introductory half hour session at no cost so you can get a sense of whether you feel you would like us to work together. I understand that taking that step to call can be hard, I may not always be able to answer the phone but please do leave a message and I will return your call as soon as I can.
I have to say that I don't have a "speciality". I believe that person-centred counselling works with the person as a whole and whatever they bring. I have worked with clients from 17 years of age to 80 and over. I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, bullying, isolation, low self esteem, relationship difficulties and loss to name but a few.
It can sometimes feel really difficult to share how you feel with those around us. You may feel you don't want to be a burden friends or family that you might be judged or misunderstood. I can offer you a safe space in which to explore thoughts and feelings.
