Hello and a warm welcome. I provide a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space for adults and adolescents to explore their feelings and difficult experiences, recognise and change unhealthy behaviours and thought patterns and grow in self-confidence. I am a qualified integrative child and adolescent counsellor with a post graduate diploma from Place2Be (level 7) and I am furthering my training currently at Metanoia Institute where I am a trainee counsellor working with adults. I work in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Clapham.
My integrative practice means that I draw on a variety of ways of working including psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, person centred theory, transactional analysis and Gestalt theory. I can help with things such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship and peer difficulties, family conflict, shame, anger and loss. I cater to each individual.
With curiosity, compassion and empathy I can help clients explore their feelings and difficult experiences, recognise and change unhealthy behaviours and build tools to help themselves through difficult times. I have found that when a person feels understood and seen they are better able to grow in self awareness, self worth and create positive change.
