I am an experienced CBT therapist. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, improve emotional regulation and the development of personal coping strategies. This enables individuals to work through and overcome difficult issues. I work with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, anger issues, rape & sexual abuse or anything that is important to you. I work one-on-one to help uncover the source of stress, pain, resentment, frustration in a person's life and develop the skills you need to resolve difficult issues.
I help clients determine goals and set into motion a plan to create and sustain positive change. A therapist is someone who has professional training to listen and offer a safe non-judgemental space, in which to work through problems and encourage you to explore and grow. I have a particular interest in working with the trauma of rape and sexual abuse.
