I offer both short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy in person in Brighton and online for individuals or couples. Qualified with over fifteen years of clinical experience in the fields of abuse, trauma, mental health, I work with adults and use a number of different approaches to adjust the work to the individual needs of each client. My approach aims to assist in exploring thoughts, feelings, conflicts, both in the present & past and to help facilitate change, growth and resolution, reducing symptoms and helping you to engage with life more fully.
My approach is integrative, a model that brings together different elements from specific approaches. All theories have value and there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations. Each person is considered in their individual wholeness and I tailor the work to their needs and circumstances.
I have worked with mental health in the NHS, with trauma, with significant life events like divorce or physical illness diagnosis, with students in further and higher education, and with artists and the challenges of the creative process. I also offer group work in systemic family constellations.
