I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the NHS and private sector. I specialise in supporting the families of neurodiverse children and young people to understand their differences, to develop better relationships and to lead happier, more fulfilled lives. Clinical services include: neurodevelopmental & family assessment; autism assessment; ADHD assessment; assessment of intellectual ability; and brief neurodevelopmental intervention. I offer most of these services online for clients throughout the UK. For more information about my services, fees and cinical approach, please visit www.vicandas.com
Diagnostic assessments are all conducted in line with national guidance and delivered in a timely way, meaning that families do not have to wait to receive a robust diagnostic decision. However, my approach is focused on understanding the individual, not just their diagnosis, which allows for meaningful recommendations and ongoing support.
I offer brief family-based intervention focussed on the child or young person's unique neuro-cognitive profile. This allows us to find realistic and lasting solutions to family problems, rather than relying on generic advice. Interventions are offered to familes of children with or without a formal neurodevelopmental diagnosis (e.g. autism, ADHD).
