Practical, compassionate therapy, without the fluff. I'll speak to you like a human, to build a relationship where it feels easy to talk. Managing your mental health can be exhausting. It’s always there, but it’s never the priority - the responsibilities of life take over. It’s impacting on work, relationships, your kids, your health. It’s been going on too long, and isn’t getting better – and you need to get on top of it. You want be able to look after those you love, feel you can cope with the demands of work, enjoy time with family and friends, without stress, anxiety, eruptions of emotion. You want to feel like a person again.
It is possible to reduce and manage your symptoms, and rediscover your sense of self. I can help you to confront the thoughts you’re sick of wrestling with, change behaviour that keeps you stuck, accept your feelings, and manage your emotional responses, instead of them taking charge of you. You can feel whole, present, and in control of your own life.
My clients reduce their anxious thoughts, and feel in control when they do happen; improve their mood so they can be more present and enjoy family life; and learn to set boundaries to improve relationships. Some people come to therapy knowing what is distressing them, and some need space and support to figure it out. Book an introductory call to get started.
