You may be asked the question "How are you?" many times, but how often have you been able to respond to that question truthfully? You may hold back your emotions and feel anxious, confused and overwhelmed by life difficulties. You may feel that you cannot share what is inside you for fear of being judged, misunderstood or simply you cannot trust people around you. It may feel safer to reply: "I am ok!" and life goes on without giving a voice to your deep needs. My aim is to offer you a warm and non judgemental space where together we can explore the source of your emotional difficulties. Your emotional wellbeing is my priority.
I am an Integrative Relational Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, which means that I draw from a range of psychotherapy and counselling approaches to suit your individual needs. I abide by the BACP code of ethics, I have on going supervision and attend professional development courses. I offer long and short term therapy in English and Italian.
I believe in the uniqueness of each person and by offering empathic understanding and unconditional acceptance of who you are, we can develop a safe client-therapist relationship. This will allow us to raise awareness and understand your relational patterns of behaviour and find a healthier way of being with yourself and others.
