Dr. Philippa Sammons is a registered clinical psychologist, with extensive experience working in mental health, learning disability and neurology services within the NHS. She provides assessment, formulation and therapy input for a wide range of psychological difficulties including working with anxiety, depression and difficulties relating to change and or adjustment.
Philippa is able to work in an integrative way, drawing on a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, including acceptance and commitment therapy cognitive behavioural therapy, compassion focused therapy and dialectic behavioural therapy .
Philippa has additional training in systemic family work, dialectic behavioural therapy, clinical supervision and leadership. She is interested in trauma informed work and brings a trauma informed approach into her clinical practice
