People come to see me for a wide variety of reasons and there is no typical client. I see people from all walks of life and with many different issues to address. My aim is to enable clients to express their feelings and explore the issues that affect them in a safe, confidential and comfortable environment. I take a person centred approach and work at the pace dictated by the client.
I have over 25 years experience as a social worker in child protection and over ten years as a Psychologist. I combine my knowledge and experience from both disciplines to provide a comprehensive service.
I always provide the introductory session free of charge. This enables the client and myself to discuss what the issues are and to look at potential ways of working. This time allows the client to decide whether they would like to work with me. I value discretion and confidentiality. I am empathetic and non judgemental in my approach to every client.
