Hi, my name is Reena and I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist. I have significant experience helping people who are experiencing emotional distress including but not limited to low mood, anxiety, trauma and more. I offer evidence based, psychological therapy to individuals. I am an integrative psychologist, drawing on specialist interventions. I also offer therapeutic coaching and consultations. In our sessions we work collaboratively to help make sense of your distress and offer treatment that is tailored to your needs. I have worked in the NHS for almost 15years in a variety of roles and settings including CAMHS
I offer an integrative approach drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Trauma focused), compassionate focused therapy and EMDR to help gain an understanding of the difficulties clients face. Trauma, anxiety, autism, substance use are my key areas of interest. I adopt a systemic, bio-psycho-social approach (including contextual factors)
After an assessment some may only require a few sessions, whereas others may wish longer term therapy. I work in collaboration with clients to formulate and devise a plan to meet their needs.
