I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oxford and am registered with the HCPC. I have worked with a range of complex emotional needs with diagnoses such as PTSD, complex PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety disorders i.e OCD, phobias, GAD, depression, eating disorders, and mental health difficulties associated with neuro-developmental disorders (ASC & ADHD). I have (and still actively) work in the NHS since 2017 across several settings.
I use an integrated, person-centered approach to treatment. Drawing mainly on cognitive and behavioural, trauma focussed principles, and third wave approaches. I believe it is important that therapy acknowledges and adapts to peoples identities and the intersections between them e.g. Race, Gender, Sexuality, Religion, SES.
Openness and empathy are at the core of building strong therapeutic relationships. I strive to empower clients through true collaboration, validation of experiences and understanding of individual differences, motivating people to work toward their goals and develop an appreciation of the journey toward self discovery.
