Therapy can help us to manage our lives and our relationships better, it can lead to more fulfilling relationships and a renewed sense of aliveness. Learning how to manage symptoms such as overthinking, insomnia, anxiety, depression, lack of energy, or an enduring sense of helplessness and despair, can lead to renewed energy and a greater sense of freedom in our lives. In my sessions I often use teaching, in order to help make sense of and understand why you might be feeling the way you do and to help you learn ways to make changes in order to better manage those feelings.
My interest lies in the field of trauma and I have continued to train throughout my career as a therapist in order to better understand how trauma impacts us and ways in which we can go on to heal. I am a qualified EMDR therapist, and have done a years training in the field of sensorimotor psychotherapy.
