People seek counselling for a variety of different personal reasons and difficulties. Whatever is going on for you right now, I provide a confidential and calm environment, to help you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your issues. I believe each client knows themselves best, therefore we will work together in a collaborative manner. I will help you to identify therapeutic goals and strategies of how you can achieve them, enabling you to feel more empowered to cope with the challenges that life throws at you, rather than feeling overwhelmed or held back by them.
I have specialist training and experience in the addiction field working with both substance misuse and behavioural addictions. In addition, I have a wide range of experience with issues such as anxiety, anger management, low self-esteem/confidence, abuse and early life difficulties.
I appreciate how much courage it can take to seek therapy and how important it is for you to find the right therapist for you and your specific needs, so I offer the first 50 minute session at half price. I also offer telephone and Skype sessions, for clients where face-to-face sessions may not be convenient.
