I am an experienced counsellor working with adults and young people aged 16 upwards. I support clients who present with a variety of issues and concerns. Some of these include anxiety and depression, self-esteem, work stress, bereavement and problems with family relationships or difficult life events. I work with each individual client in the best way for them, using a variety of counselling techniques to support them in their journey, well as looking at ways forward and any goals they may want to achieve.
I work with adults of all ages and young people over 16. I also have extensive experience as a mentor working with adolescents and young adults with learning needs. I work in private practice and I have been working as a counsellor at a local FE/HE college for four years. I also volunteer as a supervisor/bereavement volunteer for Cruse Bereavement.
I provide a safe, confidential and respectful space in which we work together to explore the difficulties/challenges you may be facing. It can be very helpful to view these with someone impartial and express how you really feel without worrying about others' opinions.
