Speaking to someone else may be the first steps you take in changing what isn’t working for you. I understand that holding painful feelings is hard, and you may be feeling anxious about reaching out for help. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space where you will be heard and understood. Together we can take the time to work through issues in a way that makes sense for you.
I am trained in psychodynamic and integrative, relational psychotherapy and I may use a different theoretical approaches to suit your particular needs, whatever they may be. No individual's problems are the same, so I work hard to learn about you before using an approach that allows us to get to the bottom of your issue.
I was drawn to psychotherapy as a way of understanding people and relationships; I was curious about the way we interact with each other and our inner worlds. What I have come to understand is that relationships, although complex, aren’t a mystery and at the heart of a functioning relationship is the ability to listen, be truly heard and be accepted for us.
