We all have periods in our life where we struggle to understand or find meaning in what is happening to us. I know from my own experience, and that of the clients I have worked with, that acknowledging we need help is challenging and asking for help can sometimes feel scary and overwhelming. As a relational integrative practitioner I draw upon a number of theoretical and relational approaches including attachment theory, humanistic and Gestalt. This enables me to work creatively and flexibly, tailoring my approach to your needs.
Outside of my psychotherapy training, I bring a wealth of personal and work experience to my role as therapist, including my experience of learning about, practicing and training to teach Mindful Self- Compassion. I believe that self-compassion is key to responding to our difficulties in a more nurturing and warm way.
