I am a fully qualified counsellor. I provide a safe, non-judgemental, and emphatic space to talk about what may have become unmanageable in your life. Counselling may help you process difficult feelings, work towards your goals, see your problems from a different perspective and bring greater self-awareness. I have a particular interest in anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, depression, and relationship issues.
I work using a relationship integrative model which means how we relate to ourselves and how we relate to others. I draw upon different theorists, from person-centred and psychodynamic models, depending on what you need. I believe the body and mind are interconnected and I work somatically in a mindful way.
The first session will be to explore what you need help with and how we can work together. I will do a brief assessment/questionnaire to understand what your presenting issues are. I provide a limited number of spaces for those on low income. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to discuss how we can work together.
