Clients come to counselling with a broad range of issues, and as unique individuals the approach best suited varies. Taking an integrative (Eclectic) approach allows for the best approach to be utilised. I am an Accredited IACP therapist with a BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Certificate in Child & Adolescent Counselling & Psychotherapy. MBS Management & Organisational Studies. BA (Hons) International Business. I have many years experience and also continually undertaking professional development in key areas pertinent to Counselling.
My approach is tailored to suit the individual and the issues they are presenting with. My core approach is person-centred and I also draw on a selection of other therapeutic approaches to ensure that the therapy you need is tailored to you and the issues you bring.
My core philosophy in counselling and psychotherapy is person-centred, through a strong relationship with the client and a therapeutic environment that that is conducive to effective therapy taking place. I recognise that my clients have the capacity and desire to both grow and change, brought about through the use of the key counselling skills.
