I believe that each individual that comes through the doors is exactly that - an individual. Every client has their own unique needs and make up which is key in identifying in order to help facilitate recovery and growth. Life has many ups and downs for us all and at times we need help in working through some of the ups and downs. Finding the right therapist can be a valuable asset during these times and I'm a strong believer in the importance for each client in finding the "right fit" for them in order to really be able to get what they need from the therapy.
As I mentioned previously I believe each therapy encounter is unique to the individual and so the approach taken in the work is tailored to the client. Creating a safe space is fundamental for me with each client so that they can explore and work their issues, gain greater understanding and develop internal resources and coping strategies.
