There are times when life can seem overwhelming in particular if we are experiencing stress, anxiety or low mood. Daily life stressors of work and family responsibilities can contribute to these feelings. At other times we may be going through life changes such as a bereavement, issues in our relationships or periods of extended stress at work. Therapy offers a space to notice and explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and to be curious about how your past experiences may be impacting your present day life and your thoughts about the future. Coping skills and strategies are taught to allow you be more present.
I have a MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from ICHAS. I am an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with the NAPCP. As a Person-Centred therapist I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship with clients which emphasizes their autonomy. I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and strategies for achieving them.
