Many people experience challenging emotions that they need help exploring. I offer a safe and supportive environment so you can explore any issues that might be affecting your overall well-being and happiness. In our sessions, you will be offered a therapeutic and non judgemental space to allow yourself to fully express yourself. We will work together to uncover and work through difficult emotions, offering you the opportunity to move towards self acceptance. I work with adults experiencing emotional difficulties, ranging from (but not limited to) Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Grief, Loss, Stress, family & work related issues.
I work from a humanistic and integrative approach drawing on different psychotherapeutic models. I adapt my approach depending on the needs of each individual client. Our sessions may involve exploring some past events and how they are impacting on your life now. Together in counselling we will explore alternatives to the issues that are causing you distress
It's normal to feel nervous or apprehensive when considering starting counselling. However, if you feel you would benefit from attending, I would encourage you to book in for an initial consultation. There is no commitment and it will give you a chance to see if it is right for you. Remember counselling and psychotherapy is a confidential and safe space.
