Kia ora, I'm Sheena (she/her). If you are feeling stuck, it can sometimes be hard to see choices and options. A specific event or transition may be impacting you. It could be difficulties in relationships. Or, anxiety, depression, or something else, may be getting in the way of the life you want to live. I work with my clients, to create space between the person and the “problem”. Within this space we can explore how experiences and beliefs from your past may be shaping your present, identify how you would prefer your life to be, and discover the action that you can take to get there.
I'm passionate about creating safe spaces for the adolescents, adults & couples I see. I provide affirming counselling support to Rainbow clients, and those on journeys of exploring sexuality and gender identity. I have a special interest in Artist & Creative Wellbeing, Navigating Separation & Non-suicidal Self Injury.
Clients come to see me hoping for change. I firmly believe change is always possible: our identity is fluid and constantly evolving. I provide a supportive space, to illuminate new possibilities and draw forward the resources and values that exist within you to support the life you want to live.
