I am a licensed mental health counselor. I obtained my master's degree from Grand Canyon University. In addition to my formal education, I have two (2) postgraduate certifications in Christian Counseling and Play Therapy. I have experience in helping both children and adults with concerns about intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, anger management, autism, anxiety, parenting, domestic violence, and spiritual issues. Each individual is unique. Therefore, mental health treatment should be tailored to meet those unique needs in a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment.

It is my personal belief that everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space to unravel their thoughts and be present in the moment. It’s the middle of the night, and you glance at the clock. You have to be up for work in a few hours and haven’t slept a bit. Your thoughts are racing, your heart pounding, the tightness in your chest makes it hard to breathe. You’re caught in an anxiety spiral again and don’t know how to get out. In the past, you’ve always found strength in Jesus. But lately, it’s hard to reach him through this cloud of dread. The shame of being a “bad Christian” only compounds your fear. You want desperately to reach out for help, but you’re terrified no one will understand. Or worse, that they will judge you for it. Something needs to change.

The problem is that you have left your first love. You have lost trust and friendship in your marriage and wonder if it can be saved. You have even wondered if divorce is an option.
