My main focus is trauma and PTSD. My secondary focus is on Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome and Parental Alienation. I also do a lot of work with anxiety (social and generalized), addictions, depression, abuse (of all kinds). These are often tied to my two main focuses. I have a lot of experience working with military personnel and veterans.

I enjoy working with adults, teens, and couples working to achieve mutual goals. Therapy goals are individually tailored to fit each person’s needs. For instance, you may be struggling with adjustment, anxiety, depression, interpersonal crises, with issues pertaining to cultural identity or many other life stressors; we can set goals together and tackle them a little bit at a time. I started my counseling journey in an agency setting and after a few years moved into a small group private practice. My favorite part of counseling is the value of the therapeutic relationship. Nurturing that trust and safety in sessions lends itself to an environment of authenticity and growth.

Children and teens often struggle with the same difficult feelings and emotions that adults do, but they have limited ways of expressing themselves. Similarly, parents can find themselves at a loss to reach their child, often leading to stress, anxiety, and disconnection. I have spent years working with children, teens, and their families in order to create healthy coping skills and foster healing, growth, and connection. I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages reach their full potential, offering a safe environment to explore thoughts and feelings and develop necessary skills to thrive.

Every person is unique, so we find the modality that works best for you. I am Trauma trained in EMDR, practice SRI and somatic experience. I see minors, married, partners, and adults in crisis. I help clients discover and develop in identity, restore their voice and renew purpose as they heal. I believe that when we do by intention what we have been doing by intuition, acceleration occurs. I am faith based, but work with secular clients as well.
