I specialize in working with adolescent and young adult in the area of anxiety, eating disorders and gender/sexuality. My clients are able to change behaviors such as avoiding, restricting, ruminating, indulging, escaping into effective coping strategies. As confidence and motivation increases, I have seen my clients develop an authentic version of themselves by gaining insight into their thoughts and behaviors, building awareness around their relationships with others and challenging unhelpful coping behaviors.
As a collegiate athlete and one who has gone through many of the challenges in which I specialize in, I bring transparency, authenticity and a little humor into the therapeutic space. Having trained in adolescent treatment programs, I understand the comprehensive approach it takes to go from just merely functioning to being able to fully thrive.
Ultimately, my goal is to help clients establish goals, reach them and then maintain steady growth. This takes a balance of empathy and validation with solution focused methods that work. I want to help others become securely grounded while owning their unique sense of self. I want to help others thrive!

Adult Survivors of Emotional Neglect or Abuse
Actualize Counseling & Nutrition, provides an ongoing 10-week support group for women who grew up in emotionally neglectful or abusive environments. As adults, adverse childhood experiences may result in insecure attachments or unhealthy compulsive behaviors. Group members are provided with an environment to learn, process and receive peer support. If you have struggled with feelings of emotionally loneliness or struggle with forming healthy, thriving relationships with others, this group may provide you with guidance and tools that can help you process and ultimately lead towards healing.
