At times, life circumstances can be challenging and the "old" ways of coping don't work effectively anymore. Whether challenges are expected or not, I believe we do the best we can, at any given moment. It can also be difficult to reach out and ask for help for a variety of reasons. However, it also one of the bravest things we can do for ourselves. I work with individuals who are motivated to make healthy changes, pursue life goals and talk through the hard parts. I support clients with an interactive style with empathy and compassion. My experience includes working with teens, college students and adults in various settings.
My approach to helping involves looking at the whole person, including but not limited to personal history, goals, successes and challenges. I work with individuals experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum, parenting, mood disorders and transition from adolescence to adulthood/college and those working in healthcare professions
