My practice as a licensed clinical psychologist involves treating clients with multitudes of mental health concerns or just stressors of life. My goal is to be a collaborator rather than an expert in facilitating exploration, reflection, and consideration of alternative problem formulations and interventions. I empower clients by providing a safe, cooperative, nonjudgmental, & confidential environment so that folks may gain flexibility in their thinking and behavior. Through supportive therapy, I will assist clients in understanding how their perceptions, thoughts, and beliefs affect their behavior, mood, and self-esteem.
Whether the issue(s) is depression, anxiety, career issues, abuse, health concerns, or relationship dynamics we will find more productive means of coping and enjoying a meaningful life. The right therapeutic approach is key to discovering underlying issues while working to resolve those concerns. All religious/spiritual beliefs, cultures, disabilities, and orientations are welcome..
