Ciara Dickens is a licensed professional counselor who empowers her clients to better manage their lives primarily by emphasizing personal strengths and resiliency and by teaching clients the necessary skills to improve their symptoms and relationships. Ciara’s primary therapeutic approach includes the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Solution-Focused Therapy, but she will frequently utilize different therapeutic approaches to best serve clients and their presenting needs. Ciara uses the 7 dimensions of wellness to help clients identify their needs and assists them in creating goals
Ciara’s therapeutic style is focused on engaging in active listening and providing empathy as well as a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients to share their concerns. Ciara’s goals are: to help clients understand their feelings, discuss psychosocial factors that have contributed to their wellness and mental health, and explore their options
