Deciding to start therapy for the first time or returning at at different chapter in your life is not an easy decision.Ultimately, you come to therapy to explore your own concerns, dreams, and goals. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and interactive. I provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment while helping you to understand and resolve conflicts within your world. I take a very supportive stance and realize that getting help is the first part of making a change. I practice focusing on clients' strengths, collaborating to create an individualized approach to address each client’s unique needs.
My specialties are treating those who suffer from depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, grief, and loss. As a therapist, I use CBT, motivational interviewing, and EMDR when working with individuals with known trauma.
