Hello, I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I work with adults. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, have parenting issues, problems with relationships or are struggling at work? I help people who are feeling stuck, who may have a sense of where they want to go or how they want to feel, but can't get the momentum, confidence, or motivation they need to get there. Together we clarify your goals, get to know the inner and outer obstacles you face, and develop your strengths and tools for moving forward. Don't be concerned about knowing what to say or where to start we will figure it out together.
I work extensively with depression, anxiety, trauma and substance abuse. I worked in substance rehab for 4 1/2 years and ran thousands of early recovery meetings. I do dual diagnosis and substance abuse counseling. I led a PTSD group for women. I also have a business background and work with all professional levels to successfully navigate work stressors.
Finding someone with whom you feel comfortable and understood is an important factor in effective therapy. I take a very active role in your sessions and offer a safe place to explore your concerns while we work together to achieve your treatment goals.
