The people I've been able to help most feel stuck and crave direction in recovering an assured sense of who they are and their potential. We are all creatures of adaptation and many of us learn early on to adjust to whatever the world asks of us. Accordingly, we may internalize the priorities of our parents, our peers, and our culture, agendas that don’t always serve our own interest.
My role as a therapist is to facilitate your relationship between what you are aware of and what is hidden, creating a path to a more balanced personhood, a reconnection with your essential self. Through our dialogue, I aim to deepen the meaning of your journey, compassionately addressing the issues in your life that have led you to my door.
I have been trained as a Jungian oriented depth therapist, blending narrative therapy, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral techniques. Additionally, I have worked over eighteen years as a professional career counselor and recently as an ADHD specialist, discovering and dissembling the internal blocks and habits that keep us from greater satisfaction.
