Have you ever wondered what makes for a fulfilling life? I believe it can be condensed down to two things–mental well-being & relational satisfaction. If our mind is at peace and we have satisfying and rewarding relationships, we tend to feel great! Mental well-being is about living life in accordance with your values. When your values and your actions don’t align, we often see psychological distress. This, along with the seemingly relentless pressure to present our best selves 100% of the time can lead to symptoms of anxiety/depression. Sometimes we need a little TLC. A space to slow down, be introspective, and discuss challenges.

Willow Goldfarb is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has 6 years of experience in the mental health field. Willow has worked within the foster care system, addiction recovery systems, within public schools, as a supervisor to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and through providing consultation to large corporations about creating environments that promote mental wellbeing. She provides feminist, anti-racist perspectives to empower clients of all identities and intersections Willow helps her clients share their story by offering a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.

No one is overtly taught how to be in a marriage, be part of a family or how to juggle life. My goal is to assist people, couples, and families in their challenges (past and present) to reach their desired goals.

I’m Deseray Wilson, Owner & Clinical Director of Anxious Black Girls. We're a Safe Space for Black Women & Girls who want to learn how to disrupt generational patterns that normalize stress, overworking, overthinking, staying in unhealthy relationships, & having a lack of self-empathy. Our clients come to us because the impact of staying in these spaces has caused increased anxiety and other mental health stressors.
