Does your happiness and self-worth yo-yo up and down depending on the current circumstances of your life? When something which you have no control over goes wrong, do you tend to blame yourself even when you know, logically, that it isn't your fault? The pain of low self-esteem and perfectionism can be hard to live with and sometimes hard to escape from. I love to work with people to improve their feelings of self-worth and lessen the pull of perfectionism.
I work with my clients to increase their self-compassion while getting to know themselves on a deeper level. As they do, patterns, and past traumas sometimes emerge. As these are released and resolved, healing and self-growth naturally occur. Often, hidden goals, abilities, contentment, laughter and talents come out.
I combine over 30 years involvement with the self-growth and healing industry along with a more recent Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling. My counseling approach tends to be holistic and draws from multiple avenues. I individualize my approach and methods to each client.
