Welcome! I am so glad you are here! I have been practicing counseling since 2004 and work with a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, grief, trauma and relationship issues. I believe that we all have the capacity to change and that change happens in the context of relationship. Some of the most meaningful seasons of personal growth are born out of the most difficult of circumstances. Seeking help can feel overwhelming. My job as a counselor is to help clients navigate these difficult situations so they find the way forward.
The challenges facing students today are greater than ever before with the needs for mental healthcare increasing. I love working with students of all ages, especially high school and college aged girls struggling with anxiety, self image, and depression. I am passionate about helping students feel heard and develop healthy coping skills.
When we meet for the first time we will spend time talking about what brings you to counseling and your goals. Together we will start to take the steps to becoming your best self.
